Letter from Secretary General
Dear Participants,
As the Secretary General of the Hype Model United Nations Conference, I would like to extend my warmest welcome to each of you. As a young individual like yourself, I am honored to lead this conference, which aims to nurture the diplomats, politicians, and leaders of the future.
Model United Nations conferences have played a significant role in shaping who I am today by enhancing my communication and problem-solving skills, diplomacy, understanding of global issues, ability to propose solutions, foreign language proficiency, confidence, and public speaking abilities.
As the Secretary General of the Hype Model United Nations, I hope to impart the benefits these conferences have brought to me. I strongly recommend that you review this guide carefully and wish you all an excellent conference.

What is the Model United Nations?

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational model of the United Nations used for simulations in which students learn about diplomacy and international relations. At a MUN conference, each student works as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.
Learn teamwork, writing, speaking, and more.
MUN focuses on research, public speaking, debating, writing, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. While MUN is typically used as an extracurricular activity, some schools also offer it as a class. MUN is intended to develop students’ deeper understanding into current world issues and world politics while leading the most prestigious educational event.

At HypeMUN, our vision is to help young individuals grow into globally conscious, solution-oriented leaders with strong leadership skills. Our mission is to equip participants with skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and intercultural understanding through the Model United Nations experience, empowering them to become responsible, open-minded, and aware global citizens.
HypeMUN olarak vizyonumuz; genç bireylerin küresel sorunlara duyarlı, çözüm odaklı ve liderlik yetkinliklerine sahip bireyler olarak yetiÅŸmesini saÄŸlamaktır. Misyonumuz ise; katılımcılarımıza Model BirleÅŸmiÅŸ Milletler ortamı aracılığıyla eleÅŸtirel düÅŸünme, etkili iletiÅŸim ve kültürlerarası anlayış gibi beceriler kazandırmak, onları çok sesliliÄŸe saygı duyan, sorumluluk sahibi ve bilinçli dünya vatandaÅŸları olarak güçlendirmektir.
